Beer Faucet Shank (Stainless) - 3 in.

Beer Faucet Shank (Stainless) - 3 in.

Item currently out of stock

Comes with a 3/16" nipple, back nut, and plastic collar. It requires a 1" hole for installation. When set in place, the shank will only have about 1 7/8" of length to pass through your wall or fridge door, due to the length of the collar and back nut.

Installation note: On a fridge there is generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. You should be able to see the lines form condensation on the inside of the freezer where there are lines running. Please still use caution when drilling.

  • 4-1/4" - Total Length (Tip to Tip)
  • 3-1/8" - Shank Length (Without Nut & Nipple)
  • 2-1/4" - Thread Length
  • 1-3/4" - Pass Through Length
  • 3/16" Nipple

Didn't want the hose barb welded to the shank so that I can use this with DUO104 (Duotight Push-In Fitting - 8 mm (5/16 in.) x Female Beer Thread).

Does the interrap spring work with this shank? So the intertap faucet automatically shuts off?
jeremy brown on Feb 4, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Intertap spring worked for me to automatically close my (non-flow control) Intertap faucet mounted on this shank. The spring provides much more resistance to operating the faucet, so a sturdy mount and long handle are healpful.
Does this come with tailpiece gasket and is the tailpiece also stainless? Thanks.

It is what it is
It's a 3 inch shank. It does the things that 3 inch shanks do

Perfect fit for the collar on my keezer
I used a 15/16” drill bit. Faucet shank easily fit with room for adjustments if needed. I wish it came with an elbow tailpiece though; makes it easier and cleaner to route the liquid lines.

Great solid piece.
The Faucet Shank was an addition to my Keezer. I now have 4 beers on tap. The Shank fits perfectly. I will recommend these to my friends.

Good quality
Worked great. Better quality than the ones i bought from that jungle website. This one has a removable tailpiece. The other website's didn't.

Used on my Keezer with 2x8" collar. The length fits good, but I would have preferred a little longer. Well built and works as designed.

Good shank, won’t work with flow control faucet.
I purchased several of these for a new tap system I built. They seem well made and hopefully will hold up for a long time.

However, the convex part that the faucet links up to is fairly shallow. This means you can’t use them for a perlick flow control faucet. Those faucets have a sphere-like piece at the back that ends up interfering with your ability to get a good seal between the faucet and the shank. Beer will spray everywhere when you hook up your lines. It’s not fun.
