I bought a kit that does not have one, this helps transfer beer from one container to another by siphoning.

1/2 inch racking cane needs to be modified for carboy usage
Racking can be slow so I decided to try a 1/2 inch cane. This one works well but will not fit in a 5 gallon carboy ( I have 20 of them). I cut off about 1.5 inches of the bend in order to thread it into a carboy opening. You will have about 1 inch remaining which will keep it from picking up all the lees.

I also purchased 5 foot of the 1/2 tubing as recommended. The problem is when siphoning this tubing filled with wine weighs quite a bit and that weight crimps the tubing at the top of the siphon tube cutting off flow. I have been supporting the tubing by hand in order to maximize the flow.
