Is this considered a sterile filter for removal of bacteria? With an absolute rating of 0.5, I would think it removes bacteria, but the description does not state one way or the other.

BEST ANSWER: I believe .45 is considered absolute sterile. I've used this cartridge. Pretty sure it cleaned the wine super close to sterile standards. I've had no problems with bugs showing up in the finished product. Good for small lots!
Is this filter really 0.5 micron absolute or it’s nominal?
FromLV L on Apr 16, 2021
BEST ANSWER: they are nominal, enolmatic filters are not absolute
