Can the plastic spigot be easily switched out for a SS ball valve? Otherwise, as is it doesn't seem suitable for boiling wort.

Would it be possible to adapt this turbo boiler electric kettle into a brew kettle, or should it be used strictly for sparge water?

BEST ANSWER: if u get a temperature control plug-in device I think would be the best, since it goes to boil and stays there
Is there a temp control panel or do u just shut it off when desired temperature is reached?
Jason Guthrie on Jun 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No temp control built in. I use an ink bird with a thermowell and it works great
