Please select from the following option(s) to see pricing and availability.

Designed for Brewing. Built to Last.  BrewBuilt brew kettles are made from 304 stainless steel and offer an unparalleled mix of features for the price. At the very top of the list are two welded-in place couplers that offer a lifetime of leak free use.  As you can imagine, welding in a coupler costs more than punching a hole and using a gasketed (ie weld-less) fitting. Welded fittings offer a permanent connection that to us is worth every penny.  The second unique feature that we absolutely love about these brew kettles is the notched lid with silicone plug.  This notch allows you so much flexibility; you can use an immersion chiller, one of our Ultimate Sparge Arms for mashing, tie off hop bags, take a temp reading during cooling, or whatever else we all can dream up.

This Brew Kettle has a lot to offer...
Some other features we dig include the internal volume markers from the bottom to the top - so handy for instant reads.  The silicone sleeved handles on the kettle and the lid are a cool feature to protect your hands. The tri-clad bottom with a 4mm core of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel offers even heat distribution during the boil and also makes it a perfect choice for anyone wanting to use an induction burner.  The bottom coupler is also cool with 1/2" male threads on the outside and 1/2'' female threads on the inside.  Those internal threads are so handy...  you can easily install a pick up tube, stainless quick disconnects, a kettle screen, or any other fitting that features 1/2" MPT threads.

Beefy 304 Stainless
These kettles are made from 304 grade stainless.  That means you will have less corrosion issues than with a kettle made from lower grade 201 type stainless. We put these kettles through a corrosive salt water test in the MoreBeer! shop and they passed with flying colors. We also made sure the rivets and riveted handles were also made of stainless steel for a long term, trouble free life.  The 10 and 15 gallon size are made from 1.0mm thick stainless steel. The 22, 31 and 50 gallon size are made with 1.2mm stainless - that's pretty thick stuff - and you will know it when you pick one up. The included ball valve is a two piece design that allows for easy cleaning (we prefer these over 3 piece for ease of assembly) and is also made from 304 stainless.

Size Ratios and stuff
All the Brewbuilt kettles follow the recent trend to a 1.2:1 ratio where the height is 1.2 times the diameter. This is a proven commercial ratio that has been adopted in homebrewing to achieve a more consistent 10% evaporation rate during the boil.  We do like this ratio for boilling. For Mashing we would prefer a little bit shallower but that is a small compromise. Dimensions for a hot-liquor tank, if you are thinking brewing system down the road, are irrelevant as any ratio kettle will do.

Unique 22 Gallon Size
This size was born from customer feedback. Many customers making 10 gallons actually want to end up with 10 gallons at the end of kegging. That means you can be starting a boil with 13-14 gallons of wort to account for boil off, kettle loss, and fermenter loss. The 22 Gallon size kettle allows you to boil those quantities with plenty of room for boil overs. Want to make a 15 gallon batch with friends... you can squeeze that in to! You'll never regret having a little extra kettle.

Final Words
With welded fittings, a bunch of cool features, and a solid, thick 304 stainless steel core this kettle is a pretty amazing value. There are a host of accessories available including a trick false bottom for mashing, a whirlpool arm for recirculating, and more. Remember,  if you order from MoreBeer! we ship free anywhere in the continental USA!

We use the kettle for vacuum chambers in our manufacturing process. Its all setup and ready to go with welded fittings. Better than what they sell for vacuum kettles.

I have the 30 gallon kettle right now and really like the quality for the price. I need a bigger kettle so I'm staying with Brew Built.

Because I like big kettles.
Doug N on Jul 2, 2019
Because I originaly purchased a 7.5 gallon blichmann electric brew kettle, and they should never have made them because the heating coil needs a minumun of 3.5 gallons of wort to use it. So I plan to use this 10 gallon instead.

I have a 15gal BrewBuilt and love it. Expanding. Now this is my new boil kettle. 15gal moves to HLT. Adding a second 10 gal insulated cooler for 20gal Mash tun. Inexpensive route to 20gal batches.

Does the port for the thermometer also have internal threads?
STEPHEN PACE on May 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: My kettle does not have usable threads on the kettle inside to add a fitting onto the thermometer port. This would have been ideal for whirpooling. I am going to have a threaded bushing welded to the inside.
How many inches is the top port off the bottom on the 10gal kettle? Trying to see if this would work for 2.5-3gal BIAB batches. Thanks!
Cory M on May 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: 6.25 inches to center of port from bottom
Seems like contradictory information on suitability for induction burners? The product description says it's perfect for induction, but the feedback to one review says 304 stainless is non magnetic.
Frank on Apr 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have two Brewbuilt kettles, a 15 gallon and a 22 gallon, both of which I use on my 3500 watt induction burner. The morebeer heavy duty kettles also work on induction burners.
What barb fitting do I need to connect a 1/2" silicone house to the ball valve?
Louis LeBlanc on Jun 23, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The best barb for this connection is part number H620. This has the 1/2" MPT to thread into your valve as well as a 5/8" OD Barb so the silicone fits snuggly. We do still recommend a hose clamp to ensure an air tight connection.
Will my SS Brewtech whirlpool attachment fit these kettles? It uses a 1/2" Male NPT bulkhead.
Michael Ferguson on Mar 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: You can use any weldless fitting in these kettles by drilling an appropriate hole where you need it.
What kind of loss are you guys seeing at the bottle of your kettle post-knockout? What kind of trub filters are you using with this?
Michael Ferguson on Mar 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The kettle loss will vary from batch to batch depending on what kind of grain you use, how many hops you add to the brew, or whether you use hop bags or baskets. Good trub filters for these kettles are the Trub Trapper, Kettle Tube Screen, or even just a small pickup tube to draw from the corner of the kettle instead.
What height/volume level is the thermometer at on the 15-gallon Brewbuilt Kettle?
William Johnson on Nov 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The center of the thermometer port is 6 inches up from the bottom of the pot. That equates to about 6.5 gallons in the pot. This is a great brewing kettle. Highly recommend it. -Chris
What height/volume level is the thermometer at on the 22-gallon Brewbuilt Kettle?
John on May 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The thermometer probe is 6" on center measured from the interior base of the kettle, approximately 6 3/4 Gal. on the liquid level.

The only problem with this beast is finding room for storage.
Love being able to do a full boil, and definitely looking forward to having the option of doing 10 gallon batches when I start with all grain brewing. The spigot is good quality, and with the maximizer, there's almost nothing left in the kettle.
The only struggle I have is finding room to store it out of the way.

Thumbs up
Great kettle. I drilled a hole at 45 degrees from the thermometer port and added a weld less tangential inlet. His is awesome for ten gallon batches because there is enough space to contain any boil over. So easier cleanup. I recommend this kettle.

Great brew kettle!
Outstanding kettle. This purchase was my 3rd Brewbuilt kettle to add to my bag of tricks. I got the 10 gal one because sometimes I just don't want to wash a 15 or a 20 gallon kettle. Perfect size for my experimental 5 gallon batches ( while boiling 7.5 gals). I would recommend this to anyone wanting a solid brew kettle that will last.

brew kettle
this is my 2nd brew kettle, my first SS was good, but sold it and it had no handles, this one has a rubber fitting to fill the hole in the lid, another improvement besides the handles, and it has inside markings for the volume of your fluid. the manual states that you should take off the drain fitting for cleaning after every use. I don't think that is necessary and probably won't do that, a soft bristle brush is what I plan. I have the 15 gal. kettle and it feels more solid than my old one. Haven't used it for brewing yet, but I have used it for blanching dozens of ears of corn, real time saver, lots of room inside...highly recommend...

Great product. Lid fits perfect with no wiggle. All lid edges are smooth, not sharp. Plug and ball valve are very secure with no leaks. However you’ve got to apply significant torque to ensure that the ball valve is tightened to where the lever is directly above valve opening. Fantastic design.
