If you want to jump into all grain brewing right from your first batch, or as an upgrade from malt extract brewing, the Robobrew is a complete turn key solution. The Robobrew is an all-in-one electric brewery that has built in elements for heating and boiling, a built in pump for recirculation, an onboard water resistant control panel for setting and monitoring temperatures, a removable grain basket, and a built in spigot for transfering. It is extremely portable and uses 110v power so it can be used nearly anywhere.

The built in magnetic drive pump easily recirculates the wort during the mash. We recommend getting some silicone tubing to go with the recirculation arm. This allows you more control over the recirculation and you can then use the same tubing to transfer your wort to your fermenter.

Dual heating elements run off of a single 110 volt plug and have individual switches allowing for more control over the heating process. One element is 1000 watts and the other is 500 for a combined 1500 watts! Use both when you need to ramp up the temperature quickly either at the start to get to your mash temp or to go from your mash temp to boiling. Use only one of the elements when you want to hold a temperature.

The digital control panel makes it easy to see the current temperature and set the temperature you want. You can also set a delayed start of up to 23 hours in advance so that you can have your water hot and ready to go when you get home from work or get up in the morning. The digital controller is also water resistant so don't worry about spills or some water dripping down the side. This controller is built for brewing!

The brewery also includes a stainless steel malt pipe with false bottom allowing you to easily shift from mash tun to boil kettle during your brew day. The malt pipe includes a handle to lift it from the RoboBrew and tabs at the base so you can set the malt pipe over the RoboBrew to let the wort drain out. It also has feet at its base to raise the malt pipe slightly off the base and help prevent clogging.

The included Robobrew stainless steel wort chiller is shipped with bare ends so you can set it up for your situation. We list below the most common tubing and fittings to connect to a hose, hose bib, or faucet.

What MoreBeer! loves about this product: Homebrewing is trending in the direction of all-in-one, all-grain brewing systems and the Robobrew is the ultimate value. The cost is half of the next comparable system and nearly the same as buying converted coolers and a kettle. We've brewed on all the systems and we can truly say the Robobrew is the easiest to use. We feel confident that a lot of first time brewers could buy this and use it with ease. At the same time quite a few of our experienced, all-grain brewing staff are buying it to brew at home. The unit is extremely compact because the pump is built-in to the bottom of the unit. You can move it around with ease which makes it perfect for guys and gals that have space constraints. Someone on the team also mentioned how they like that you can drain it via gravity without having to use the pump. We would choose the Robobrew model with the pump because the pump portion is really easy to use, probably increases efficiency, and eliminates temperature differences in the mash. All in all a great buy and highly recommended. Please note you will need a few extra pieces of hardware to connect the wort chiller and 2' of silicone tubing for the sparge.

Note: The manual references an element for a different market.  This unit comes with two heating elements for a total of 1,500 watts.

How does it keep the trub out of the drain?
Kenneth Ackerson on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There's a removeable screen/false bottom that you put in first before the grain basket that keeps everything out of the drain as well as the recirculation pump. Very easy to clean at the end of brewing as well.
To sparge do you need to heat secondary water and pour over the raised grains?
Kenneth Ackerson on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, that's exactly what you do. I own the version 2 and it's quite easy
Are you guys going to offer the 240 volt version in the future? Its heating/boiling capabilities are way better using a total of 2400 watts (1900+500). That is the model that I want!!

Is there any kind of Flow control on the pump or is it just on/off?
William J Leeper on Apr 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The pump on the Robobrew does not have flow control.
Can you whirlpool with the included pump?
Jay Penneau on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Probably. You would have to hold the silicone tub by hand to keep it pointed the right direction. Or rig a clamp of some sort.
Does this come with the silicone tubing for the recirculation arm or does it need to be purchased as an add on? Online reviews in user groups says its included, but here it says it needs to be purchased as an add on. Thanks
brian terwilliger on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This does not include the tubing.

You will Need:
2' of H985 1/2" ID Silicone tubing for sparging and draining.
To connect included Chiller: (20') of D1710 1/2" ID beverage tubing (or whatever length required, (3) H950 hose clamps and (1) brass hose by thread adaptor (H508).

Ok but needs improvement
This going to be unfair since I just used it yesterday.
Overall, the system seems to work pretty good. Compact. Easy to clean and set. I was using 2 15g kegs and an 8g megapot for my old setup.
My gripes: Be carefull brewing hoppy beers. We used a bag for an IPA and it still clogged the pump which lead to disassembling to try to flush it out.
The actual material it is made of seems to be cheap. I didn't have the malt pipe just right, so when pulling it out I had to give it a slight twise and then pull leaving the metal scratched and flaking.
The bottom section that contains the chip board and pumped almost completely fell off, very poorly soldered on.
Overall: if you need a compact brewing system this may be the best choice. If you are just wanting to upgrade IE; get a pump or something like, keep your gear and just upgrade it. In hindsight that's what I wish I had done.

Poor Quality Control
The first unit I received was incorrectly labeled, with the sticker from the factory on the unit saying it was the version with the pump, which is what I ordered. It was in fact the version without the pump so I had to exchange it.

Now I have the version with the pump and it is completely unreliable. Sometimes the pump doesn't work, though it usually does. During my third brew both heating elements stopped working half way through the boil. Unplugging and resetting the unit got to 500W element back online, but the 1000W element still doesn't work.

Unfortunately this is a $500 cheap POS.

Not reliable!
Love the setup when it worked. Controller failed after 2nd brew. Determined it was a simple temp probe mounted on the bottom of the kettle. Getting error readings on the display, heating elements will not come on. Make sure you have a backup, elements can go out at anytime. Emailed the company. Sorry, no warranty and were not going to send you a replacement probe. You cannot find a working replacement probe anywhere. I gutted the electronics and built my own controller. Metal is of good quality, useless without working, reliable controller. Would not do business with Keg King again, rude. Grainfather is probably a more reliable option.... you pay a little more for some kind of a warranty/support.

Originally, MoreBeer™ said it would ship in late May. However, it arrived at the end of April!! All parts were included except the gasket for the bottom grain pipe screen. Nevertheless, a replacement was overnighted upon request. I like the calibrations on the boil pot, the re-circulation pump, the digital controls and the wort chiller. This machine is truly all-in-one. My first brew (a Scotch Ale) with the Robobrew V3 went quite well. The only hitch was in bringing the wort to a boil. After setting the temp to 214° F so that I'd get a 212° F with both elements on, the boil hung at 190° F. Consequently I used a wooden paddle to scrap grain from the bottom double screen of the grain pipe and, finally, the temp climbed to and held at 212° F. Cleanup was a breeze. Because I used a mesh bag for the hops trub was nearly nonexistent. The valve at the bottom made it very easy to transfer the cooled water to my primary fermenter for pitching.

I would recommend the Robobrew V3 to all home brewers, both all grain beginners as well as seasoned brew veterans.

Brew soon, sous vide now.
First brew will be a multi step mash German Pils on Memorial day weekend. It worked perfectly a couple of days ago to make sous vide t-bones finished on the very hot grill for a couple of minutes. Perfect tender, pink and flavor so don't forget that option with this machine.

Robobrew, why not
This makes all grain brewing pozssible without a garage full of equipment.

First use went pretty well, but a little trouble with a stuck sparge. Wish they sold the 240v system here.

Great Product for the price
I have had this thing since the first run of the Gen3 systems came out. I have put around 10 brews through the system, and there are some minor problems such as the lift bar for the malt pipe being a tad too large so you can end up denting the robobrew pushing it in. I have not yet had the elements fail, or the control board have issues, but these do happen, the QC seems to be pretty bad. If you are thinking "I'll just save up for a Grainfather" as far as I can tell they have just as many issues, but are less likely to repair the system or replace it. So for the price, this has been an great system for me.
