If you want to jump into all grain brewing right from your first batch, or as an upgrade from malt extract brewing, the Robobrew is a complete turn key solution. The Robobrew is an all-in-one electric brewery that has built in elements for heating and boiling, a built in pump for recirculation, an onboard water resistant control panel for setting and monitoring temperatures, a removable grain basket, and a built in spigot for transfering. It is extremely portable and uses 110v power so it can be used nearly anywhere.

The built in magnetic drive pump easily recirculates the wort during the mash. We recommend getting some silicone tubing to go with the recirculation arm. This allows you more control over the recirculation and you can then use the same tubing to transfer your wort to your fermenter.

Dual heating elements run off of a single 110 volt plug and have individual switches allowing for more control over the heating process. One element is 1000 watts and the other is 500 for a combined 1500 watts! Use both when you need to ramp up the temperature quickly either at the start to get to your mash temp or to go from your mash temp to boiling. Use only one of the elements when you want to hold a temperature.

The digital control panel makes it easy to see the current temperature and set the temperature you want. You can also set a delayed start of up to 23 hours in advance so that you can have your water hot and ready to go when you get home from work or get up in the morning. The digital controller is also water resistant so don't worry about spills or some water dripping down the side. This controller is built for brewing!

The brewery also includes a stainless steel malt pipe with false bottom allowing you to easily shift from mash tun to boil kettle during your brew day. The malt pipe includes a handle to lift it from the RoboBrew and tabs at the base so you can set the malt pipe over the RoboBrew to let the wort drain out. It also has feet at its base to raise the malt pipe slightly off the base and help prevent clogging.

The included Robobrew stainless steel wort chiller is shipped with bare ends so you can set it up for your situation. We list below the most common tubing and fittings to connect to a hose, hose bib, or faucet.

What MoreBeer! loves about this product: Homebrewing is trending in the direction of all-in-one, all-grain brewing systems and the Robobrew is the ultimate value. The cost is half of the next comparable system and nearly the same as buying converted coolers and a kettle. We've brewed on all the systems and we can truly say the Robobrew is the easiest to use. We feel confident that a lot of first time brewers could buy this and use it with ease. At the same time quite a few of our experienced, all-grain brewing staff are buying it to brew at home. The unit is extremely compact because the pump is built-in to the bottom of the unit. You can move it around with ease which makes it perfect for guys and gals that have space constraints. Someone on the team also mentioned how they like that you can drain it via gravity without having to use the pump. We would choose the Robobrew model with the pump because the pump portion is really easy to use, increases efficiency, and eliminates temperature differences in the mash. All in all a great buy and highly recommended. Please note you will need a few extra pieces of hardware to connect the wort chiller and at least 2' of silicone tubing for the sparge.

Note: The manual references an element for a different market.  This unit comes with two heating elements for a total of 1,500 watts.

Are you guys going to offer the 240 volt version in the future? Its heating/boiling capabilities are way better using a total of 2400 watts (1900+500). That is the model that I want!!

BEST ANSWER: We are definitely looking into it. Thank you for your input!
How does it keep the trub out of the drain?
Kenneth Ackerson on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There's a removeable screen/false bottom that you put in first before the grain basket that keeps everything out of the drain as well as the recirculation pump. Very easy to clean at the end of brewing as well.
To sparge do you need to heat secondary water and pour over the raised grains?
Kenneth Ackerson on Feb 26, 2018

Can you whirlpool with the included pump?
Jay Penneau on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Probably. You would have to hold the silicone tub by hand to keep it pointed the right direction. Or rig a clamp of some sort.
Does this come with the silicone tubing for the recirculation arm or does it need to be purchased as an add on? Online reviews in user groups says its included, but here it says it needs to be purchased as an add on. Thanks
brian terwilliger on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This does not include the tubing.

You will Need:
2' of H985 1/2" ID Silicone tubing for sparging and draining.
To connect included Chiller: (20') of D1710 1/2" ID beverage tubing (or whatever length required, (3) H950 hose clamps and (1) brass hose by thread adaptor (H508).

Perfect replacement for propane burners and coolers
Just brewed first time with my new robo brew gen 3. Took about 45 min to hour to heat up sparge water. Worked flawlessly. Love the convenience of brewing inside not having to drag out propane burner and carring hot wort in the house.

Going all grain? Take the work out with a Robobrew
I will not pretend this is a high quality machine. It's not, It is thin and fragile. It will likely not stand the test of time. But it is worth the price I paid for it. Better is the time and mess I save every time I brew. The pump version is a big factor to avoiding the mess. Prior to the Robobrew the brew day was all day in the kitchen watching the brew pot and adjusting the temp and the boil. Now I brew in the garage while tinkering with other projects.
It is a bit underpowered. I wish it had 2000 watt heat. As the boil is week. I intend to add a hang over the side submersion heater at some point but it's not essential it makes great beer just as it is. It is just slower than I like sometimes.
It's not the right choice for everyone. But for the price It was the right choice for me. Just for the simplicity stand point alone. I brew more beer more often as I don't have to dedicate the entire day making a mess of the kitchen.

Just cleaned it this morning! I’ll be brewing my first batch of “all grain” beer next week. I will try to write a review after the first batch is in the fermenter

Simple and straightforward
This is a nice unit that came well packaged and had no visible damage on arrival. It's simple to use for extract, and with an electric HLT (bought or homemade) makes for a nice, compact all-grain setup. I like the controller and found it to be pretty straightforward to use.

I'd recommend the neoprene jacket, the hop spider and some extra tubing, depending on what setup you want to use for chilling. There's some good videos out there which might be more helpful than the included manual.

Great setup for a good price.
I have now brewed 4 times out of this all in one system. I do have concerns with the ability to keep the electronics cool underneath the system. Keep in mind that all fittings on this, because it was designed in Australia, are BSP (British thread). So if you want to make adjustments or additions, you will need that. Easy to clean and lovely set up. 4 out of 5 stars because I am wary of the electronics and the board's ability to stay cool thus potentially shortening the life of the brewer.

Works very well
The grain basket handle is a little odd.
I will buy or make the blanket to insulate it as it loses temp quickly
But, all in all a very easy way to brew whole grain

Amazing quality of life improvement over my old propane and cooler mash tun. My first one broke down but Morebeer replaces it quickly and without hassle, A+ service. I’ve brewed 25 gallons on the replacement without a hitch.

Great system!
Great system! Will take a few brews to get used to but pretty easy to set up and use. Cleanup isnt too bad but I do reccomend a hop screen for hops and/or spice additions.
