This former Brettanomyces strain was reclassified as Saccharomyces, making for a particularly unique yeast strain. Topical IPA produces a delicate, tart, tropical mango and pineapple fruit character with a clean finish. This yeast excels at high temperatures, and will produce a more intense tropical profile the higher the fermentation temp gets. Notoriously non-flocculent, but the amazing flavor is well worth it.
Attenuation: 85+%
Flocculation: Low
Alocohol Tolerance: 10% ABV
Optimum Fermentation Temp: 75-85°F
Cell Count: 150 Billion

Great yeas strain
Fermented at ~78-80 degrees and turned out great. IPA attenuated down to 1.005 in around 3 days. Will definitely use this yeast again.

Attenuated way too much
I purposely underpitched by 30bill cells knowing that others experiences with this yeast had higher than expected attenuation. NEIPA finished at 1.004 that left the beer dry and devoid of tropical flavor. I also should note I fermented at recommended temperature into the high seventies. I still have another pack to use so next time will mash higher than 152f, maybe >155f? and underpitch even more hoping to retain the body and sweetness a NEIPA needs.

Great yeast! This should have a warning, it will ferment in under 24 hours. I pitched on Sunday 1.060 and it was done Tuesday 1.006. The flavor is amazing!!!!

Excellent yeast. Very aggressive and ferments out in about 3-5 days. Great for hazy ipa

This yeast has the melon/fruity esters I was looking for. NEIPA seems to good style to match up well.
