High Temp Silicone Tubing - 1/2 in.

Please select from the following option(s) to see pricing and availability.

Translucent, food-grade tubing temperature rated to 500F.

Odorless, tasteless, and inert Silicone tubing is FDA food-grade approved from -100F to 500F. Translucent natural color allows you to see the flow. The perfect tubing for building a personal brewery, especially for any time that the wort in contact with tubing will be above 180F. This tubing is not designed to hold pressures above 20psi. It works great with our magnetic drive pumps such as a March or Chugger pump, but we do not recommend it with a impeller pump or for use with household water pressure.

Platinum Cured

*Will burst at 30 PSI at 70F.

"By the Foot" quantity ordered will be shipped as a single uncut length. Maximum length available is 100 ft.

Works well!
I use this to gravity feed hot wort from my mashtun to the boil kettle. No complaints. This is a reorder item and I have no complaints.

Response from MoreFlavor
This tubing does pick up color pretty quickly especially when brewing a very dark beer or deep red wine. We recommend cleaning it promptly and rinsing it with an acid sanitizer shortly after use to reduce any color pickup or lingering flavors or aromas. In my experience the color pickup does not affect future batches or the structural longevity of the tubing. Thank you for your feedback.
