Best bang for your buck.
I had better luck with the pinot noir yeast recommended by more beer. Dehydrating and using the nutrient.
Good hearty pinot with blackberry flavor. I did not use the oak or the sulfites. Started drinking after two weeks by pulling a half gallon out of the carboy, giving it a good shake and leaving the cap unscrewed and set in the fridge. I use Carlo Rossi one gallon jugs.

As of right now I would give it a zero. I have been trying to get it ferment but nothing is happening. I have made a number of these kits before with great results. Now I have to contact the manufacturer to find out why.

Fantastic Stuff!
This kit will be my 3rd Pinot Noir (the 2nd that I actually get to keep for myself as I just made one for a friends wedding). Kits are easy for the beginner...and fun to experiment with for the experienced home winemaker. I've taken to using RC212 yeast with this kit rather than the EC1118 as it just tastes better (EC1118 comes in all of their kits because it's pretty much a fail safe yeast that works every time). Overall...a really good Pinot Noir!
