Smaller glass thief, easier to use and clean than my large plastic thief.

Nice little thief.
Nice little wine thief. The larger plastic thieves won't fit some of my carboys so I purchased this. The glass is thin but I'm sure with proper care this will last a while.

Better than the plastic one I have
This is much better than the plastic one I have. AT a 12 inch length, it takes a couple of tubes to get enough for a sample, however, it is easy to clean.

No online customer support
The drip tray I ordered was bent up and I tried to contact more beer through messenger but got no response even though I know it was viewed. All other products were good.

dribbles and bits
While this thief can do its job, more or less, I found it frustrating to use. Mine tends to dribble, and the volume is so low that it takes quite awhile to get enough liquid to do a hydrometer reading. I'm used to pipettes in the lab, which drip only if I'm using them incorrectly, so maybe I'm spoiled...

Great for the price
While this doesn't work for the smaller batches that are in the 5 or 6 gallon carboys, if it reaches, it's worth the price. Super easy to snag a sample, and even easier to clean.

Works good for reasonable price
Does the job with minimum effort, and its easy to clean afterwards.

It's not as wide as the plastics one
It's not as big as the plastic one but it still works.

Does the job
Well made and easy to clean, I like it better than the big plastic ones.

Simple, Well suited to sampling
While it's a pretty simple device, this glass rod is shaped at the end to allow the user to hold it between your fore and middle fingers as if holding an aspirating syringe. Simply dip the business-end of the rod into the fluid you with to sample and plug the hole with your thumb and draw out your sample,... nothin' to it.

Really does the trick.
This really makes it easy to take samples, especially for narrow necked carboys. Super easy to clean too.
