These Ball Lock Corny Kegs are a sturdy, reliable keg with the MoreBeer! seal of approval. These corny kegs are cleaned, de-labeled, sanitized, pressure tested and guaranteed to hold pressure upon delivery.
Every Ball Lock Cornelius Keg has a 5 gallon capacity and a rubber top and bottom. While these are used kegs with slight cosmetic damages, these light dings and scratches have no effect the keg’s performance. The relief valves, poppets and gaskets on these used kegs are not replaced before shipping, but we sell all of these items separately if you’d like to replace them yourself at home (part numbers KEG540, KEG450 & KEG500). If you’re looking for a truly economical way to serve your beer at home, this Ball Lock Cornelius Keg is a great option.
  • Used keg with minor cosmetic damage only
  • Ball lock corny kegs measure approximately 8.5" (diameter) x 25" (height) x 26 1/4" Height with flare fittings
  • Soda kegs may come with either 11/16 inch body connects or 7/8" body connects
  • Purchase deep sockets to remove body connects (part numbers KEG991 and KEG992)

My homebrew system uses ball lock kegs and to fit 3 kegs in my kegerator I need to use the old Pesi size kegs that are 8.5" in diameter.

Are these kegs shipped sanitized and ready to fill?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Kyle - We recommend to always clean and sanitize any keg before filling it.

Wow - best used one yet!
All but one of my kegs are used. This had no traces of syrup, was clean, and arrived pressurized! The last one I bought elsewhere had a strong birch beer stench and took a lot of cleaning to get rid of it. Sure, there are a few scratches/dings, but who cares about that? After a good PBW wash and starsan rinse, it is good to go. Great product - YMMV.

Pretty good
These came to me just fine through shipping, and are holding pressure. They’re beat up and need cleaning - one has bent liquid tube - but all pretty much okay. I think for the level of effort in cleaning, upgrading o-rings, etc., it might be worth buying new - at least at the price point I paid.

Exactly as advertised. I gave it a good cleaning, replaced the O rings because why not, they are cheap. Filled it and chilled it. Ahhhhhhh

Looks in good shape and came pressurized
I haven't used this keg yet but it looks in very good shape for being used and it came pressurized. Plan on racking an Irish Red Ale next week.

Wasn't right the first time, but you fixed it immediately
The first keg I received would seal, liquid would pour out whenever I shook it. I contacted customer service and no questions asked, it was replaced. I had another keg within a matter of days. And this one is just what I was looking for.
Good customer service is worth a lot! Thank you.

Leaky keg
Finally, got around to filling it with some gas and it leaks from both ports. Even after soap watery testing it with pressure. Don’t buy used!

Good product
One side of the bottom is bent in, but otherwise the keg is in good shape. I would buy one again.
