BEST ANSWER:Hi Andy - As long as your roof is tall enough because they need lots of room for vertical growth, they grow about 1ft per day. Henry VIII referred to them as a "wicked weed" which indicated to me that they are very invasive and their tendrils will reach out for anything and choke without mercy. So just make sure they're in their own location and won't bother any of your other crops, and as long as they have the proper environmental factors (light, water, nutrients) they will thrive in your greenhouse. Hi Tyler, I live in the mountains of western North Carolina at about 2000 feet elevation. The green house roof and side walls are clear polycarbonate triple-wall 16mm sheets.. The building has concret floors and an automatic watering system along with 4- 1000 watt grow lamps which are on a timer. I have been growing orchids in the GH for about 10 years as a hobby.
