Columbus IPA - All Grain Beer Brewing Kit (5 Gallons)

Columbus IPA - All Grain Beer Brewing Kit (5 Gallons)

Please select from the following option(s) to see pricing and availability.
Pre-Milled:
Description

A great IPA recipe that features the high oil content Columbus hop in the finish. Lots and lots of aroma combined with very evident hop flavor.  The Columbus hop flavor and aroma help work to soften the apparent bitterness. The malt and grain remains the same as the American IPA recipe.

  • Makes 5 gallons
  • Estimated Original Gravity:1.058-64
  • SRM (Color Range): 6-10
  • IBUs: 62-66
  • Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 6%

Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. Brewed this before and it turned out great until my 3yr old decided to drain the keg back into a dirty carboy. I want to enjoy the whole keg.

How long do you boil wort?
Rigo Vargas on Mar 13, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Hi.
When you get any kits from Morebeer, they will give you brewing instruction for the complete process for either All grain or extract brewing.

However, you would boil the wort for a total of 60 minutes. During the 60 minutes, you will be adding your Hop additions to the boiling water.

Finally got to be this after winning a few beer friday. Been in tap for a bit now, fined with gelatin. It's a very clear beer with a nice crisp flavor that satisfies. I tried to drink it a little too soon, but after about a week it was great.

Good overall.
First time making this as all-grain. Nice malty flavor with the hops. Likely will add more hops next time.

Great tasting IPA
Very happy with how this brew came out. I used Safale US-05. A nice crisp and flavorful hop character. Each sip left me wanting to take another. Would highly recommend!

Excellent beer at an excellent price!
Second time brewing on Grainfather. Dry hopped first batch with 1 oz Columbus but this time going with the recipe. Very good IPA with plenty of body and hop bitterness. Will be a regular brew.
