This black, beverage out quick disconnect comes with a flare for attaching to a beverage line, and it's made by CM Becker so you know it is high quality.
The flare threads measure 1/4 inch.
Note: Sometimes ball lock fittings can be difficult to get fully seated on a Cornelius keg. We recommend using a quick spray of sanitizer solution to act as a lubricant and giving it a few twists while applying the ball lock.

Are the connectors the same on ball lock Corney Kegs and ball lock Torpedo Kegs?
Wayne K on Jan 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The connectors function exactly the same. The internal construction of the posts is slightly different, so replacement parts wouldn't be interchangeable.
Do I need 1/4" flare fitting and 1/4" swivel nut to attach this to 5mm ID tubing?

CM Becker Ball Lock Beverage Out - Flare
CM Becker Ball Lock Beverage Out - Flare
Flare Fitting - 1/4
Flare Fitting - 1/4" Swivel Nut
Flare Fitting - 1/4 in. Barb
Flare Fitting - 1/4 in. Barb
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The nut tightens the barb to the disconnect. I have these on all of my connections so I can take the disconnect off the beer line for easy cleaning.
Which fitting would be needed to attach 3/8 ID silicone tubing?
Eric M on Jan 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For 3/8" silicone, I would use a KEG640 Flare Fitting Set - 1/4 in. Nut & 5/16 in. Barb. You can also see all the options at https://www.morebeer.com/category/flared-keg-fittings.html
1/4" Nut & 5/16 Barb

Work great
Bought these for gas and liquid on my new 3 tap kegerator. I used the Duotight push fittings for the entire system. No hose clamps on the entire system. I have use push fittings for my RO/DI water system underv80-90psi and trust them completely. I recommend spending the extra $5 for the tube cutting tool. It makes a nice clean cut and has a tool for removing the Duotight push fittings from the line.

Thumbs Up
I'm sold on the flare fitting connectors.. Now I don't need to cut the tubing any longer.

Better Than Flare
I like these as they are "Changable" without clipping your line. They are user parts that I have had to replace over time and the 1/4 fitting makes that easy.

Above average quality
Many quick disconnects are poorly cast and assembled-- not this one! Great connector.

solid for 2 years
I've been popping these off and on kegs for a couple of years now. Still going strong. I was initially concerned they were plastic, but they're in great shape. Recommended.

Flares >> Barbs
Bought these to replace old outs with flares. I like to be able to disconnect the lines and i feel like i get a better seal with flares than barbs and clamps

Better than barbed version
I prefer these over the barbed version because its easier to remove the tubing come cleaning time. Recommend to have some keg lube handy to put a thin layer on the keg post before applying this...makes attach/detach much easier. These unscrew apart for easy internal cleaning.
