60° L Briess Malting - Caramel 60L is used in some Pale Ales, Amber Ales, Brown Ales, and as the Caramel malt in many darker beers such as Porter and Stouts. Flavor is sweet with pronounced caramel characteristics. Contributes deep golden to red hues.

we used it in a pale ale recipe as we were looking for the mellow caramel flavor without a lot of color .

Great versatility! Always reliable!
A very reliable useful malt for many beer styles. My favorite, IPA, but can be used for Ambers & Stouts. Great versatility!

A trustworthy caramel malt
This is a solid caramel malt to use in many style of beers, my favorite times to use it are in American Amber and Russian Imperial Stouts. It adds a moderately deep sweetness.
