Blichmann Spunging Valve NPT functioning as advertised
This is my first use of the Spunding valve on my Blichmann Cornical and so far it is working great. I am into the 7th day of fermentation. I have it set at a hair over 15 psi and it holds steady. The only issue I had was when I assembled it, the red O ring between the valve and the gauge shredded and blocked the channel to the gauge. After clearing it with a needle and a trip to the hardware store to buy a suitable O ring replacement, all worked fine. I'm looking forward to tasting the ale. The next brew will be a lager fermented at room temperature...that will be the real test! The quality of the valve is great as expected from Blichmann Engineering.
