Blichmann Beer Gun V2

Blichmann Beer Gun V2

60 day no hassle return policy. Details

Have a keg of beer, but want to fill some bottles to take with you to the game, beach, or friend's house? The BeerGun is a great way to fill bottles from a keg. Every part that comes into contact with your beer is stainless steel. This unit features a CO2 purge, which helps to prevent oxidation during filling. Includes tubing and a brush for cleaning.

The Version 2 BeerGun will soon become the standard for rapid handheld bottling.  This new model features an ergonomic handle, with valve controls placed conveniently at your fingertips.  This upgrade is easier to clean, and even easier to use.  If you've used other bottlers, but been disappointed by confusing controls or foaming, then this is the Bottle Filler for you.

This new model comes enclosed in a plastic tool case, and includes the fittings needed to connect to your keg (Normally a $25 separate purchase!)

What's New:

  • Ergonomic warm-touch grip with ambidextrous thumb actuated CO2 valve
  • Positively retained beer gun seal tip - no more lost tips!
  • Anti-microbial beer hose keeps contamination at bay!
  • Accessory kit  now included as standard item
  • Includes a convenient plastic tool case
  • Tool free super fast disassembly
  • Made in the USA!

Note: Regulators and "Y" fittings are not included with the product. You need two gas sources, so a dual output MFL regulator is ideal.  You can add a second output to your regulator by adding a "Y" Fitting and 2 shutoffs.  You can also cut your line and add a barbed "T" or use a manifold.

Does this work with a pin lock system?
Michael Smith on Nov 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It comes with a ball lock connection. You would need to purchase a pin lock connection with an MFL fitting.
So, this is not a counter pressure style unit? Is foaming an issue, and if not, what is preventing foaming and why? Besides co2 purge, is it better than a tube attached to your faucet?
Brett Binns on Dec 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Foaming generally isn’t an issue. Set the PSI of your CO2 tank low when filling. This product works significantly better than a tube attached to your faucet.
Is this ready out of the box or is an additional accessory kit necessary?
Jordan Williams on Dec 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My experience with this item is very positive. It is completely ready for use exactly as it is. The beer and CO2 tubing lengths are generous. The storage case keeps everything together. Disassembly for cleaning is a snap. I get best results when I keep the regulator pressure around 5-8 psi to prevent foaming. Patience works best!
Is cleaning easy and what is the procedure? I’m a bit of a sanitation freak!
Brett Binns on Dec 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Brett - Most of the parts on this model come apart to allow full immersion in sanitizer.
Do I still need to connect to a Co2 tank, if the beer side of a gun is connected to my Intertap faucet with the ball lock fitting? Ultimate goal is to fill bottles without kegerator door open, as Co2 tank lives in inside it. I realize I'd be forfeiting the ability to purge the bottle with Co2 if I don't get a second tank.
Mike Miller on Mar 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, a second Co2 tank is needed.

Once setup, easy and efficient to use. I chilled bottles and kept PSI around 4 and had no issues with foaming.

Best bottling purchase, next to my floor corker
This thing makes bottling from a closed loop system incredibly efficient and clean. I make mead, and this beer gun is perfect for filling up bombers, as well as wine and liquor bottles. If you have the wand all the way to the bottom of the bottle, and you fill the bottle to the very top, removing the beer gun from the bottle leaves an almost perfect amount of head space for an Enolandia Supercork. It's also easy to purge the head space with the gun before dropping the cork in the press, or capping a beer bottle. Really worth the money. Very easy to disassemble and clean. All the parts, from the polymer frame to all the stainless components, feel very durable and seem to be made with quality materials. Made in USA too (I like to support domestic manufacturing as much as possible).

Great bottling device
I've tried all kinds of ways to bottle beer from bottle conditioning with the bottle wand, to fancy attachments on your tap to bottle from a keg. The Blichmann Beer Gun is by far the easiest and provides the most consistent results. Cheers to Blichmann for creating such a great tool!

Works great, would be better if cleaning was simpler
Used once, worked great, easy to use. I had some snap fittings for CO2 so I set it up so does not require any wrenches in the future to assemble. I think they should include a Y valve for the CO2 I don't think most people have one handy or 2 CO2 bottles or a dual regulator. I have 2 CO2 bottles so was ok. It would be better if it self cleaned just by running star san through it under pressure, then just soaking the whole assembly in Star San. Having to disassemble to clean is clunky, takes some the handiness out of it, too much work for small jobs like filling a Growler.
