Love Old Ales. This looks like a good one to put into a barrel.

Into a barrel it went. Tastes great.
Brewed very easy and hit expected gravity. I used US-04 yeast.
This tastes very good but needs to age. I put it into a charred oak barrel that had been treated with Makers Mark Bourbon. I will leave in the barrel until I get the oak flavor intensity that I am looking for. This should age very well and become a great drinker in 6 months to a year.

Great Beer but let it age!
This beer will entice you with it complexity right after carbonation but please give it at least 3 months of conditioning before you let it become part of your regular rotation. I'm at the 6 month mark and it is perfect. All the flavors have come together and it's a real treat at the end of the day. It has become a favorite of mine and all my beer drinking buddies. It will become your's too.
