Please select from the following option(s) to see pricing and availability.

If you're a fan of Amber Ales, then you need to try this Alaskan Amber clone kit!  The recipe is one of true Amber fashion, using three different crystal malts as the only malts (other than the base malt).  Saaz and Cascade hops help to contribute some hop flavor and aroma, but are really just there to compliment the rich malt flavors, allowing them to be the focus of the beer.

A classic example of an American Amber, and certainly one of our easiest drinking kits makes the Eskimo Amber Ale a must brew!

Great Value, Nice Kit
With the sale price one can't complain about cheep beer. Kit arrived in good condition, and decent instructions. Beer it's self was drinkable but I assume my pallet did not care for the Saaz hops. The earthy taste or something. .I did dry hop with Citra but dry hop is not the flavor hop. The second 5 gallons I dry hop with 1 oz cita in the primary at the very end of fermenting and things started back up so I got a bio transformation. Seem a bit more drinkable out of the fermentor but I am going to let age in keg for a few weeks.

Tough Brew Day
So stuck mash on pre crushed all grain. Didn’t expect grains to get past my triple screens. Should have used grain bag and would suggest to folks to do so if More Beer crushes your grain. That being said I got high efficiency from there crush. 1.060 expecting 1.050. Will dilute down for more volume.

Nice Amber
The kit was perfect. I hit all my brewing goals. It is a little on the sweet side for my taste. I compared it side by side with the Alaska Amber and they were very close. Overall I would brew it again maybe trying a different yeast.

Was wondering why it was so cheap, thought I would try it, but it has turned into a big hit. I'm rarely a recipe repeat person with so many styles to try, but this is definitely a repeat, thanks guys ??

Great as a base
I saw another review mentioning using Eskimo as a base so I tried it.

Amazing, my best so far, and all I did was add some Citra hops 10 days before bottling.

Ordering again.

Great base for modification
This kit is amazing.

I read sweet deal? review saying he modified it, so I gave it a try and I love it.

I made a double batch, 2 kits, so ten gallons. 6 gallons in one fermenter and 4 in a smaller fermenter.

To the 6 gallon I added 2 oz of Citra Pellet Hops for the last week of ferment (dry hop).

To the four gallon I left it plain.

Both ales are fantastic, lots and lots of enthusiastic complements. Making more soon!
